Migration of old hosting servers and deactivation of PHP 5.6, PHP 7.0, PHP 7.1 and PHP 7.2

We will soon be moving many hosting packages that are on older hosting servers to a new server environment.

The following servers are affected:

If you have booked a hosting package with us in addition to your domains, we will inform you soon about the date on which your package will be changed over and send you further information about the migration.

For websites, this means that we will no longer support PHP versions 5.6 up to and including 7.3, which are now very much outdated, as no security updates have been provided for these versions for several years. All domains currently using a PHP version older than 7.4 will automatically be upgraded to version 7.4. Therefore, please check whether your PHP applications are executable in PHP version 7.4. We will be happy to change the PHP version for you in advance. To do so, please contact our support team by email at support@inwx.de.

With the new infrastructure, PHP versions 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2 are of course also available.
