Switzerland has .ch as its geographic top level domain (ccTLD) and is currently managed by SWITCH. Many international companies have their headquarters in Switzerland, due to the low tax burden and the legal system that allows them to make investments easily and quickly.
There are currently more than 2.3 million registered .ch domains, a considerably high number even considering that they were launched in 1990.
In addition to .ch, SWITCH also manages the Liechtenstein ccTLDs: the .li domains.
